The care program

When vet bills are hard, our bird tracking tools are free

Struggling with vet bills for a bird with a diagnosed condition? Send us your Support ID and a vet document, and we open every tracking tool in ParrotSense for you, at no charge.

Email [email protected] with your Support ID and a vet document. That is the whole process.

Three steps

How to get free access

01

Find your Support ID

Open ParrotSense, tap More, then Settings. If the plan screen appears, close and reopen the app first. You will see a Support ID with a copy button. It identifies your install, not you.

02

Email it to us

Send your Support ID to [email protected] with a document from your vet showing the diagnosis. A photo of the visit note or results page is fine. The button on that Settings card starts the email for you.

03

The tools open

We apply the grant to that Support ID. Every tracking tool opens on your device, in full, at no charge, usually within minutes of us applying it.

What the grant covers

Everything you use to track, log and record your bird's care: the tools listed above, in full. Some things stay with the paid plan: call analysis, which costs us money on every run; the four food tools (diet guide with its mix check, safety checker, seed to pellets and fresh mix); and adding or editing a bird. We would rather show you where the line falls than promise everything and walk it back.

What happens to your document

We read it to confirm that a vet has made a diagnosis, then apply the grant to your Support ID. We do not ask for your income or your bird's full history. A grant belongs to that install, and we can withdraw it if a claim turns out to be false.

Why there is no code to type in

You will not find a promo-code box in the app. App Store rules do not let an app run its own unlock codes. We apply the grant to your Support ID from our side instead, which is why we need that ID.

Why we do this at all

A bird on daily medicine, or a bird your vet is watching week by week: those owners need a clear record of what happened and when, and they are the people a new subscription bill hurts first. Charging them hardest would be wrong, so we do not.

Rescues & fostering

If the bird is not yours

Rescues, sanctuaries and foster homes: talk to us

You look after birds that are not yours, often several at once, usually with a history nobody wrote down. Birds can outlive a home or two, so that history matters.

Email us, say what you do and roughly how many birds you have at a time, and we will work something out. No form, no application process.

One thing worth knowing: every bird has its own record. When one is adopted, the vet report gives the new owner a plain summary of that bird's last 90 days, including weights, diet, medications, care and what was logged, instead of a few remembered details and a folder of paper.

Questions

Care program questions

Which conditions qualify?
Any condition a vet has diagnosed and is treating, for example repeat egg laying, feather damage with a medical cause, liver disease, arthritis in an older bird or a long-term breathing problem. If you are not sure, send it in.
Do I have to prove I cannot afford it?
No. There is no means test and no financial paperwork. We ask for a vet document because we need to know the diagnosis is real, not because we are assessing you.
How long does the grant last?
It is granted for a set time and can be renewed. If it runs out while your bird is still being treated, write to us again and we will extend it.
I run a rescue or I foster. Can we use this?
Yes, get in touch. Email [email protected], tell us what you do and roughly how many birds you have at a time, and we will work something out. Each bird has its own record, and the vet report gives an adopter a plain summary of that bird's recent care.
What if I am already paying?
Write to us anyway. We would rather move you onto a grant than take money from someone paying vet bills. A grant does not cancel a store subscription, so you would still cancel that in your App Store account settings.
What if my bird has died?
We are very sorry. There is nothing you need to do. If you want the records, your logs, reports and the backup file stay on your device to read and export, whether or not any plan is active.
Can I get call analysis included too?
Not through this program. Each analysis has a real cost, so it stays with the paid plan. So do the four food tools (diet guide with its mix check, safety checker, seed to pellets and fresh mix) and adding or editing a bird. Every tracking tool opens in full.

Not in this spot? The ordinary plan keeps this open.

ParrotSense gives you information and organization, not a diagnosis. Health facts come from published veterinary sources and, for typical sizes, species databases. Where advice is our own, we say so. Your avian vet is always the authority.
